Two Days, One Community

Food trucks, makers, jewelers, healers, and community partners like the Utah Patients Coalition filled the lot. Our main stage ran both days — Sunday brought The Lip, Mike Styles, Dualstate, and Cody Himself, plus a "Why Solventless / Meet the Makers" panel with the people who grow and craft the medicine. Sunday's Community Variety Show closed out the weekend.

There was an Art as Therapy activation, family-friendly gatherings, and delivery-friendly offers for patients celebrating from home. Free. Open. Everyone welcome.

Why We Do This

Plants have been medicine longer than medicine has been an industry. Cannabis is one of them – a plant humans have worked with as medicine for thousands of years.

For a lot of the patients we serve, cannabis isn't a first choice. It's the thing they found when nothing else worked. People managing chronic pain, PTSD, epilepsy, cancer treatment side effects, autism, sleep, anxiety — people who did everything they were supposed to do inside the pharmaceutical system and were still suffering. Cannabis gave them their lives back.

Our festival is a celebration of that. Of a plant that's quietly, consistently helped the people modern medicine left behind. Of the patients who found relief. And of the fact that in Utah, six years in, they can access it safely, legally, and with dignity.

Patient First, Cannabis Done Right

Dragonfly exists because patients deserve more than access — they deserve care. We're a local, premium, craft cannabis company, and "patient first" isn't a slogan. It's our number one core value. It's how we decide what to grow, how we grow it, how we extract it, how we package it, how we deliver it, and how we staff the pharmacy floor.

Doing cannabis right means cultivating with intention. It means clean inputs and solventless options for patients who want them. It means pharmacists and consultants who actually listen. It means taking compliance seriously because patients' health depends on it. And it means treating this plant — and the people who rely on it — with the respect both deserve.

That's the standard we hold ourselves to. Every flower, every concentrate, every edible, every conversation.

"Yes, It's Legal"

That phrase showed up everywhere at the festival — on signs, in conversations with people who wandered in curiosity. It's the answer to the question we still get almost every day: You work in medical cannabis in Utah — is it legal?

Yes. Since 2018, when Utah voters passed Proposition 2. It's a structured healthcare program, not a gray area. The path is simple: meet with a registered medical provider, receive your state card, purchase from a licensed pharmacy, and work with your care team on what's right for you.

That's where Utah Grown, our neighboring medical card clinic, comes in — helping patients get certified.

Because medical cannabis patients aren't a stereotype. They're parents, professionals, veterans, caregivers, and older adults. This isn't about getting high. It's about feeling better, living better, and having options — and patients deserve information without judgment. That's what "Yes, It's Legal" stands for: a campaign we built with Utah Grown and the Utah Patients Coalition to make sure no Utahn misses out on legal medicine because they didn't know it was available.

Fox 13 Came Out

Fox 13's Amy Nay covered the festival, and the segment captured exactly what we'd hoped the weekend would say. Mike Styles — an Air Force veteran and one of our performers — talked about managing pain and anxiety without reaching for an opioid. Nanette Bereznyy shared her son Maxsin's story: an 8-year-old whose life has changed since becoming a patient.
