Rounding Up for a Stronger Utah

As Dragonfly patients know, access to medical cannabis can be essential for managing chronic pain, serious medical conditions, and long-term illnesses. Yet for many Utah medical cannabis patients, affordability remains a real challenge. That’s why we partnered with Utah Patient Collective to continue our “Round Up” campaign. To make a meaningful impact by empowering patients to help other patients in need.

Through this initiative, medical cannabis patients were invited to contribute as little as $1 at checkout to support fellow Utah patients facing financial hardship.

What Is This “Round Up” Campaign?

A round up campaign allows medical cannabis patients to voluntarily contribute just a few extra dollars to their order, with those extra contributions going directly toward patient assistance efforts. These funds are often used to support:

Low-income Utah medical cannabis patients
Patient discount and assistance programs
Short-term relief for patients experiencing financial stress
Community-based medical cannabis support initiatives

This campaign is a simple, transparent, and effective way to turn small contributions into real support for the local medical cannabis patients. Donations made get put directly back into the community, so if you made a donation in SLC, that contribution went directly to helping a patient in SLC.

Why Campaigns Like This Matter

Utah’s medical cannabis program continues to grow, but medical cannabis in Utah is still not covered by insurance. For many patients, monthly costs can quickly become overwhelming.

Round up campaigns help bridge this gap by:

Expanding access to medical cannabis for patients
Supporting patients during job loss, illness, or unexpected expenses
Strengthening the local medical cannabis community through shared care
